Orpheus Club Ski Trip to Stratton VT

We are pleased to announce details of the inaugural Orpheus Club ski trip!  Stratton Ski Resort is located in southern Vermont, about 5.5 hours from Philadelphia. The mountain offers 99 trails over 670 acres, more than 10 lifts, and an alpine village, making it a top East Coast ski destination.

Orpheus Club members are invited to a 4-night trip in mid-February. You can join for all 4 nights or just the 2-night weekend. In addition to skiing, Stratton offers tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, a fitness center with a pool and spa, and so much more.

Please note the trip is 21 years of age and older.

BLOCK ACCOMODATIONS AT BLACK BEAR LODGE:

We have reserved a convenient, classic Stratton lodge located just a quick walk or shuttle to the Village, Base Lodge and Lifts. Onsite restaurant Table 43.1 is open for breakfast and dinner throughout the winter season with a tasty dinner menu and full bar featuring Vermont craft beer and spirits. Free Wi-Fi,  complimentary continental breakfast, coffee and tea in the lobby, indoor hot tub and sauna are available at no additional charge for hotel guests.

               Black Bear room 2 beds, double occupancy $400/night (including taxes)

               Additional guests beyond double occupancy $30 (including taxes) per person (rooms can accommodate up to 4 people)

TRANPORTATION:

Driving is the fastest and easiest way to get there. Carpooling is encouraged; attendee list will be provided.  

Stratton is also accessible by train to Albany or Brattleboro, followed by a local van pickup. Mountain Drivers is a Vermont-based company strongly recommended by Stratton resort. https://www.mtndrivers.com/  802-772-5223

LIFT TICKETS & RENTALS:

Lift tickets and ski rentals (including a helmet) are available at a discounted rate if pre-purchased with the Orpheus Club.

               Lift tickets: $154 per day (includes tax) ($166 + tax if purchased on site)

               Rentals: $71.50 (includes tax) ($90 + tax if purchased on site)

FOOD AND DRINKS:

Plenty of dining options are available within walking distance: https://www.stratton.com/things-to-do/dining. The Orpheus Club will announce details for a group dinner on Saturday, February 21 – details to come!

NEXT STEPS:

We need to finalize the room reservations by the end of December.

1/ Register NOW online to let us know you are joining us. List all attendees and how many rooms you will reserve. 

2/ Print and fill out this form and mail along with payment (check only, payable to Orpheus Club, add ski trip in the memo line) to guarantee your reservation.
